Chianti Classico – Tenuta del Palagio – 2019

This wine represent our most conspicuous production.

It is mainly produced with Sangiovese, almost 95%, in addition to Colorino and Merlot.

The harvest took place between september 27th and october 16th 2019.
Fermentation in concret tanks with temperature within 28°C for 2 weeks, followed by 12 months partly in steel vats, partly in oak casks.

The color is a bright, limpid deep rubin red and the aroma is intensely fruity with a pleasant scent of red fruit such as cherry and violet . The flavour is balanced between a dry tannic taste and a velvety one.
It is a medium-bodied wine that can be aged up to 5 or 6 years.

Suggested to pair with cold cuts, fresh cheeses, pasta dishes with meat sauce.
Absolutely to try with skewers of meat, sausages and grilled vegetables cooked on the BBQ on an evening with friends.
