Campolese 2011
This wine comes from one of the most important areas of the Chianti, the one around the ancient church of Santo Stefano a Campòli, from which also the most prestigeous tuscan wine, draws its origin. It is put in french barriques of Allier for about 18 months and then aged in bottles for one year. Campolese is the more elegant wine produced from our winery: it has scents of red fruits and spices. It can mature up to 15 years but we suggest to drink it from the fourth year on. We suggest to drink it with the classic Tuscan steak, roasted pig, wild boar stew or spit-roasted game.
Wine produced annually: 3,000 bottles Sangiovese 100% Serving temperature: 20-22°C / 68-71 °F Alcohol volume: 14%
