Apoteosi 2011
Only a small production for what represents the “jewel” of our selection and the top of our supertuscan. The manual harvest usually takes place at the end of October, immediately followed by a selection on the sorting table. It has a long maceration of 45-50 days. It is obtained from a blend of 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, aged in 225-liter Kentucky oak and 65% Sangiovese barriques aged in 225-liter Allier French barriques for 36 months. A one-year refinement follows. Apoteosi is produced only in the case of excellent harvests. It was produced in the following years: 90-91-93-94-95-97-99-00-01-03-06-07-11-13.
