Obtained from Traminer grapes harvested by hand on 01 September 2020, which were then manually placed in the drying room until 14 September, when they were pressed. The must was fermented for 10 days at a low temperature in open barriques. Since 25 September 2020 they have been placed in 225-litre barrels of Hungarian Kádár oak barrels for 18 months. The young fermenting wine was subjected to batonnage every two days for 2 months.

Being a new wine for us too, the evolution of this wine is waiting to be discovered. In any case, we recommend drinking it no later than 2026

At the moment this wine was produced in 2020 for the first time, and it is still an experimental wine, even if the initial results are exciting.

We have an extreme passion for Traminer .

Every year the grapes are used for different wines, it depends on what the season allows you to achieve.

Sometimes for a raisin wine, other times a late harvest or a fruity wine in particular years, for a dry, intriguing and sensual wine like this.

Bringing the Traminer grapes into the vat is a titanic undertaking every year.

These grapes ripen in August, when it’s very hot, the creeks are dry, the grass has disappeared, while the other grapes are not yet ripe.

The local fauna is therefore very thirsty and the simplest thing to do is refresh yourself with our Traminer grapes, especially wild boars but also deers.

Therefore in order to be able to produce a few bottles of wine we had to make the bunches to be born two meters high from the ground.

By keeping the quadrupeds AbboccasciuttA (Dry mouth).

In this way we obtain an enveloping,goldish, sunny, warm  wine with spicy aromas, primarily vanilla, fruity like banana and melon white, as well as a very pleasant scent of freshly baked bread crust. Try it with butter and salmon, with substantial shellfish, with vegetable flans and game terrines. Also wonderful with sweet ham, stracchino and cuddles, or with flowery rind cheeses. Amazing with a creamy carbonara.
