Chianti Classico – Castello Il Palagio – 2011
This wine represent our most important production. It is made with a blend of 5 different grapes. The color is a bright, limpid rubin red and the bouquet is intensely fruity with a slight scent of violets and black cherry. The flavour is balanced between a dry tannic taste and a velvety one. Aged in steel tanks and oak barrels, it is a full bodied wine that can be aged up to 8, but it would be better to drink it in the first 3-4 years.

Sangiovese 80% – Canaiolo Nero 5% – Colorino 3% – Merlot 10% – Mammolo 2%
