Apoteosi 2006 There is just a small production for what represents “the jewel” of our selection. Made from a blend of 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 70% Sangiovese, it is matured in new oak french barriques of Allier for 30 months. It is produced only in case of excellent harvests. It has been produced in the following years: 90-91-93-94-95-97-99-00-01-03-06. Its colour is a garnet intensive rubin red, with a mature fruity odor and a fairly fine scent of vanilla given by oak. A generous wine which can withstand up to 15 years’ aging though we suggest not drink it before the fifth year.
